Few areas in the UK can offer such a diversity of things to do, and places to see, as this part
of Sussex, and all within such a short travelling distance of the White Rose Touring Park,
Littlehampton so why
not stay with us while you are visiting this lovely area!
Whether you plan a short or long stay, the Arun area will fill you with delight. The beauty of
the South Downs and country walks are on the doorstep. Littlehampton, with its natural harbour,
is only 1.5 miles away and boasts a fine sandy beach, amusements, shops, and good parking.
The area offers all you could wish for a superb holiday - sports centre, golf, pitch and putt, windsurfing, tennis, fishing, and
horse racing at glorious Goodwood, as well as Fontwell. You can also have a fun day out at Butlins,
Bognor Regis.
The great castle of Arundel is also 1.5 miles away. Dominating the River Arun valley, it is the
ancestral home of the Duke of Norfolk, and is open to the public during the summer months.
Amberley Working Museum. 36 acre open-air museum dedicated to the industrial heritage of the South-East. New 96 restaurant and much more.
Arundel Wildfowl and Wetlands Centre. With more than 60 acres of ponds, lakes, and reedbeds, and some spectacular wildfowl
in the world. This is the perfect setting for the most complete year round experience in Sussex.
Chichester Theatre is close by, as are many fine restaurants and public houses. Fashionable
Brighton, and Historic naval Portsmouth, are also within easy reach, and how about a day trip to
the beautiful Isle of Wight.
Parham House and Gardens. In the heart of a medieval deer park, a stunning Elizabethan house filled with beautiful paintings,
furniture and needlework. 11 acres of award winning gardens, including a walled garden, lake, and modern maze. Shop and cafe.
Bignor Roman Villa, near Arundel off the A29. The Roman Villa was discovered in 1811 and the mosaic floors are some of
the finest in Great Britain.
Brighton, Where you can shop to your hearts content. You can also visit the Brighton Marina Village,
it has shops, a range of bars, restaurants and cafés plus entertainment facilities. There is also the Lanes
with its many interesting shops. We must not forget the Royal Pavilion which is a great place to visit.
